Welcome to Booko ("the App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Booko application developed and operated by jinzhiyi ("Developer", "we", "us").
By downloading, installing, or using Booko, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Booko is a reading highlight management app that allows you to:
Booko is a pure local application. We do not operate servers, collect user data, or provide content services.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Booko. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Booko does not require or provide any account registration. All data is stored locally on your device and synced via your personal iCloud account, which is managed by Apple.
Booko offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Lifetime Unlock") through Apple's App Store, granting permanent access to all premium features on your Apple ID.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. By making a purchase, you also agree to Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
The Lifetime Unlock is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew. No subscription billing applies.
If you reinstall Booko or use a new device signed in with the same Apple ID, you can restore your purchase from within the app at any time. No additional fees will be charged.
All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies. The Developer cannot directly issue refunds.
Certain features of Booko are available for free. The Developer reserves the right to change which features are free or premium in future versions; existing Lifetime Unlock holders will retain access to all features they previously had.
All content you paste or create in Booko (reading notes, highlights, etc.) remains yours. We do not access, collect, store, or transmit your content to any server.
You are solely responsible for the content you manage within the App.
The Booko app, including its design, code, icons, and visual elements, is the intellectual property of the Developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
You agree not to:
Booko is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Developer makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
We do not guarantee that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
The Developer's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Lifetime Unlock.
You may stop using Booko at any time by deleting the App from your device.
The Developer reserves the right to discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with reasonable notice when possible.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Developer's country of residence, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Booko 的部分功能免费提供。开发者保留调整免费与付费功能范围的权利；已购买 Lifetime Unlock 的用户将继续保留其原有的全部功能。
您在 Booko 中粘贴或创建的所有内容（阅读笔记、高亮等）归您所有。我们不会访问、收集、存储或传输您的任何内容到服务器。
您对在本应用中管理的内容承担全部责任。
Booko 应用的设计、代码、图标和视觉元素等均为开发者的知识产权。您不得复制、修改、分发或逆向工程本应用的任何部分。
您同意不会：
Booko 按「现状」和「可用」的基础提供。开发者不对本应用的可靠性、可用性或特定用途的适用性作任何明示或暗示的保证。
我们不保证：
在适用法律允许的最大范围内，开发者不对因使用本应用而产生的任何间接、附带、特殊、后果性或惩罚性损害承担责任，包括但不限于数据丢失。
开发者的总责任不超过您为 Lifetime Unlock 支付的金额。
您可以随时通过从设备中删除本应用来停止使用 Booko。
开发者保留在合理通知的前提下，随时停止本应用或其任何功能的权利。
我们可能会不时更新本条款。变更将通过更新顶部的「最后更新日期」来体现。在条款变更后继续使用本应用，即表示您接受修订后的条款。
本条款受开发者所在国法律管辖并依其解释，不考虑法律冲突原则。
如果本条款的任何条款被认定为不可执行或无效，该条款将在必要的最小范围内被限制或删除，本条款的其余部分仍将完全有效。
